Google’s Neutrality Racket [Image]

Done protecting net neutrality, Google moves on to other markets…

This is in regards to the Google/Verizon deal which is attempting to abridge a principle called “network neutrality.” Basically, they eventually want to turn the internet into the cable TV system and charge you for packages of websites.

I make light here, but this is pretty serious stuff. A small, independent site like Tastes Funny would not be able to exist under such a system. So read up and support organizations like the EFF that are doing yeoman’s work to keep the internet fair and open.

I’m still tracking down the source of the above photo, but I had to post it for now because in many ways it needs no explanation. CITATION UPDATE: Nicholas_urman based on the 4chan meme?

I don’t think it’s related, but Cracked.com has this image of Jesus as a velociraptor:

I’m no expert, but I’m fairly certain it’s better theology to imagine Jesus preaching to the dinosaurs, but not being one.

UPDATE: The YouTubes has seen fit to beknight us with a “Best of Raptor Jesus” video, replete with Clawed’s Only Begotten Son in many a Biblical episode. While I don’t condone placing speech bubbles (without citing the line of the scripture), it is nice to have His words in context.
